Non-WW Weigh-in #1

This is my first week of not going to WW anymore due to my husband’s unemployment.   I’ve made a pact with myself that I’m not going to gain any weight.  I can’t.  Really!  I gave my mom all of my “fat” clothes (since she loaned me most of my wardrobe after I gained so much weight in my first pregnancy anyway).  And I’m not asking for them back.  Really in the grand scheme of things, I would be happy to just maintain.  I honestly haven’t lost any weight since Christmas anyway.  I’ve just been gaining and losing the same 2 pounds over and over, so essentially I’ve been maintaining since then.  So, my new plan is to give you the PASS/FAIL treatment.  This week, I PASSED.  I’m still maintaining.  And I’m even close to that 30 pound goal I had.  About 1 pound close.  I’m going to try my best to keep losing.  I still have another 30 pounds to lose for my ultimate goal of getting back into my pre-kids wardrobe.

WW Update - Week 60

Pounds lost in Week 60: Probably negative a gazillion and 2

Total weight lost so far : not nearly enough

Yes, I completely punked out yesterday and did not go weigh-in.  Old me - you know the one with horrible stomach/bowel problems, even worse face problems and unusual random weight gain problems? - has made a not so welcome comeback.  According to my scale, this week I somehow gained 5 pounds - all that with eating salads and chicken, walking around Sesame Place (and not eating anything good) and sweating my ass off all week.  Please explain?!  Yeah - I can’t either and frankly I couldn’t bare another hit to my self-esteem this week seeing that scale go up.  So here’s to hoping that next week, my last week of official weigh-ins, will go as planned and I will hit 30.

WW Update - Week 58

Pounds lost in Week 58: 1.2 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 29.4 pounds

30 you are SO close!  To conserve money, I started packing my lunch and breakfast for work this week instead of buying in the cafeteria and not only did it pay off in my bank account, but at weigh-in, too.  Without having to go to the cafeteria, there are no temptations, no impulse buys and I can much more effectively control what I am eating.  This week’s breakfasts have been whole wheat bagels with light cream cheese.  Lunches have consisted of salads with turkey breast, fruit, WW chips, & organic fruit leather.  And speaking of WW chips, have you tried the new Ranch Multigrain chips?  We got free samples last week and they are awesome.  So much so, that our location didn’t have any boxes left this week.  Hopefully they’ll be back in stock soon because they taste just like a potato chip but without all the fat and guilt!  30 - next week, you are mine!!!

WW Update - Week 54

Pounds lost in Week 54: 2.6 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 28.4 pounds

I must admit that I was a little nervous last week after my gain knowing full well that Father’s Day was coming up AND we were hosting the festivities. However, I REALLY was good this week. Not only did I track, but I saved up points AND did some extra walking to get in some activity points. It totally paid off! I’m officially back to the most weight I’ve lost thus far on WW and I truly am vowing to not let that number go down again. I’m GOING to beat those terrible two pounds I can’t seem to get past!

WW Update - Week 52

Pounds lost in Week 52: .6 of a pound

Total weight lost so far : 27.6 pounds

Happy WW Anniversary to me!  Yes, I have officially been doing WW for 1 year now.  This week, since I reaffirmed committing to the program, I was hoping for a larger weight loss, but .6 is still a loss and I’ll take it.  I’ve been really good about my tracking this week and will continue to count my points.  I’m also trying to fit in some more exercise by running around with the kids in the beautiful weather we’ve been having, as well as drinking my water, which is much easier to do when it is hot.
