We used the foam poster boards from Elmer’s (found at any craft store - other companies also make them). My husband taped 2 of them together and then created a hinged piece on the top so that the kids could line up their cars, lift the hinged piece and let them go - like a real race. We had it attached to a folding tables with vice grips. The lines and text were written with a white paint pen. The design was based on a ramp that we saw at a Lego Bricktober event at ToysRUs. If you have any other questions, just let me know.

I love your idea about a lego party! the lego ramp is amazing! Do you have more detail on how you did it? My husband needs as much detail as I can give him! Ha!
Kristie - I’m so glad you like the idea. Basically, this is what we did for the ramp - we purchased a black display board (Elmer’s makes them) at AC Moore. That allowed us to have sides and to not let the lego cars run off the side. My husband made the lanes using a white paint pen. The top piece that was used as a starting line was an extra piece of foam board that was cut and attached with hinge pins so you could raise it once all the cars were lined up. My husband used vice grips at the top and bottom to attach it to a long folding table. We put the table up with only one set of legs, so it was angled like a ramp. I hope this helps. If you have any more detailed questions, just post again and I’ll hopefully be able to answer them. Good luck!
