WW Update – Week 57

Pounds lost in Week 57: -.4  pounds

Total weight lost so far : 28.2 pounds

30 was not to be – at least not this week.  I did eat a lot of crap and didn’t do much in the way of tracking.  Unfortunately, the stress of my husband’s job loss is causing me to be an emotional eater.  I’m trying to make healthy choices though, eating fruit or raisins over chips (and that is no longer a problem now that I’ve plowed the bag of Doritos that was in my house).  This is my last month of WW due to the job loss, so I really need to bunker down and get back to tracking.  I want to hit 30 by the end of the month and then try and make this work without going to weigh in.  My parents have a WW scale, so that is what I’ll be using to weigh in after August.  Here’s to hoping I can maintain this weight loss since I’ve already rid myself of my larger clothes.

WW Update – Week 56

Pounds lost in Week 56: 1 pound

Total weight lost so far : 28.6 pounds

30 pounds here I come!  That is my new official goal.  I want to see the number 30 in “total weight lost so far”.  I’ve been wanting to see that for a while, but now I’m inching that much closer.  Maybe next week???  I did some extra walking this week in an effort to save money by not using the subway.  However, given the ridiculously high temps here this week, that is not going to happen.  My people are from the north.  We don’t like heat.  BUT – there also aren’t any special events with special food this week, so that is a BIG bonus.  My weekends have been hosing me for a while now.  Drink your water and stay cool!

WW Update – Week 55

Pounds lost in Week 55: -.8 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 27.6 pounds

Considering I had 2 BBQs and a baptism luncheon, I’m chalking this up to a good week.  The damn tres leches cake does me in every time!  Why will no one take my tasty leftovers?  Yeah – so 1/4 of a tres leches cake and a .8 pound gain?  That’s a plus in my book.  But, it is a new week and I’m already back on track.  I spent last night cleaning out the basement – up and down the stairs, big heavy bags of garbage.  If only I had done that BEFORE weigh-in!

WW Update – Week 54

Pounds lost in Week 54: 2.6 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 28.4 pounds

I must admit that I was a little nervous last week after my gain knowing full well that Father’s Day was coming up AND we were hosting the festivities. However, I REALLY was good this week. Not only did I track, but I saved up points AND did some extra walking to get in some activity points. It totally paid off! I’m officially back to the most weight I’ve lost thus far on WW and I truly am vowing to not let that number go down again. I’m GOING to beat those terrible two pounds I can’t seem to get past!

WW Update – Week 53

Pounds lost in Week 53: -1.8 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 25.8 pounds

What a disappointing weight-in.  But, it truly was my own fault. 1) We took the kids to Great Wold Lodge and I ate absolutely NOTHING healthy.  2) Last week, I had one of those weeks where all I wanted was chocolate and crap food.  While, I tried to be good, I gave in to a few cravings.  But, Great Wolf was sort of an eye opener for me.  I had to put on a bathing suit.  And even though I’ve seen myself in my bathing suit before and not minded too much, this weekend, I just felt like I looked fat.  You know those weeks?  Sometimes I have them even when I lose weight.  I’m desperately trying to stick to the program and will hopefully do better this week.  I wanted to start doing some morning exercises this week, however, due to making an ass of myself on the rope walk at Great Wolf Lodge (though I did make it across the 3rd time), I have to wait until the muscles in my arms and legs stop screaming.
