WW Update – Week 47

Every week I feel that the Diet Devils put someone in my path that is just destined to ruin my weigh-in.  This week, that person was Chuck E. Cheese.  Damn you, Chuck E.  Why must your pizzas be so large and tasty???!!!  I tell you – every time I dig into those 35 extra points, not only do I not lose weight, I gain it.  So this week, it is back to salads and zero point soups – FOR REAL.  I’m getting so disappointed each week when I see that week number go up and my weight lost go down.  Time to DIET UP!!!

WW Update- Week 46

Yeah, yeah, I know.  I’m back off the wagon – but I have lots of good excuses this week – 1) 90th birthday party for my husband’s grandmother with little healthy food options AND cake, 2) rain = no walking, 3) getting ready for house guests left little time for exercise.  Now, I’m back to thinking about how good last week’s loss felt and about the pre-kids wardrobe I’m still hoping to get into before November!

WW Update – Week 45

Pounds lost in Week 45: 2 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 28.2 pounds

Florida pre-kids wardrobe HERE I COME!  Finally, my added exercise is appearing on the scale.  I’ve been out running around (a lot!) with the kids and trying to incorporate some aerobics whenever I have a chance.

And hey – guess what my WW magazine told me this month???  People that carry their weight in their hips and thighs have a reduced risk for diabetes and heart disease because lower-body fat traps harmful fatty acids, which contribute to a number of diseases, more effectively than belly fat.  Best news I’ve heard lately about the junk in my trunk!

WW Update – Week 44

Today’s WW update is brought to you by the letter Y for Yo-Yo.  This week was a good week with a loss, but I was a bit disappointed by how small the loss actually was.  I was hardcore with my tracking this week and I even walked to the bus station after work 2 days this week – something I haven’t done in a long time – and I didn’t even lose a full pound.  It just goes to show you that some weeks you can do everything right and the scale still isn’t what you think it should be.  I’m hoping that next week the extra exercise I’m trying to fit in will finally show up on the scale.

WW Update – Week 43

Total weight lost so far : 25.6 pounds

Another week of expected gains due to the Easter holiday and the MANY Easter baskets full of tempting chocolate we received.  Looking at the fact that I’ve been at this for almost a year and for the past few months, I’ve been gaining and losing the same 2 pounds, I’m going to kick it into gear this week.  I’m going back to tracking, which I’ve slacked off of as of late, and I’m trying to get out and exercise in the beautiful, warm weather we’ve been having.  There’s only 7 1/2 months left until our Florida vacation and I’ve still got a ways to go to lose the additional 35 pounds I’d like to lose.
