WW Update – Week 37

Total weight lost so far : 25.6 pounds

I totally have to laugh at this week’s weight loss.  A bit of a TMI here, but I honestly believe that had I not taken a big ole crap before I went to WW, then I wouldn’t have been so lucky.  But, as I always say, ANY loss is a good loss.  While it is but a VERY small step toward my 35 more pounds goal, it is still a step in the right direction….DOWN!

WW Update – Week 31

And I’m back in the game!!!  Tracking is clearly the key to my success.  I went back to writing down everything that went into my mouth.  Last week my WW leader said, “If you bite it, you write it” and man, was she right.  During all of my previous success, I did the tracker.  Then, I stopped during the holidays.  STUPID MISTAKE……and a lesson learned.  I also did some things that I didn’t even do during my previous success.  Firstly, I said No to the Almighty McDonald’s.  While the rest of the family ate McD’s, I ate a cauliflower souffle and salad.  It was hard, but I really enjoyed my souffle, so it didn’t seem that bad.  I drank more water.  And I listened to Kate Moss….well, sort of.  Kate once said, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”.  And while I don’t advocate stick thin figures who maintain their bodies via a diet of starvation and cocaine, I do advocate thinking about the food choices you make.  I could have eaten McD’s.  I had the points.  It probably would have tasted better to me – AT THAT MOMENT.  But, the souffle was a better AND healthier choice – AND I enjoyed that, too.

WW Update – Week 26

Pounds lost in Week 26: 1 pound

Total weight lost so far : 23.6 pounds

I don’t know whether it is a belated birthday gift (my horoscope said things were going to start looking up for me) or whether my Christmas miracle continues, but I lost 1 pound this week – and that included the Destroyer’s birthday party where I ate pizza and cake.  I must admit that I was super good the rest of the week planning in advance for the party and even got in some exercise walking through New York City on my birthday and lifting the heavy tables for the party. And I tried to be good about the amount of cake and pizza I ate at the party.  All in all, I’m happy with this week’s results.  I’m still down after my few weeks of small gains, but I’m going to aim to continue the weight loss through the holidays.  Ideally, I’d just like to make it through without gaining anything else, but obviously anything lost in that time is a HUGE plus.

WW Update – Week 20

Pounds lost in week 19 : 1.2 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 21.8 pounds

Over the past month I’ve lost and gained the same damn 2 pounds.  I’m still down -.8, but next week (for sure!) I’m getting it back.  So long Wonder Twins. Say hello to the Fantastic Four (I hope!)

This week I was a good girl and stuck to program.  I was even good on my trip to Lancaster, PA where I ate at Cracker Barrel, a Chinese buffet and a diner.  Losing weight and living a normal life can be done!

WW Update – Week 15

Pounds lost in week 15 : .2 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 17.4 pounds

My dear friend Beth will love to see that I do not have to curse her name.  After her beautiful (and tasty food filled) wedding this weekend, I still managed to squeak out a .2 loss this week.  That means I’m still in the hole for .6 pounds after my gain 2 weeks ago, but next week is gonna be my week!!!  Kicking ass and losing weight!

Tonight, I also received my 16 week pin since today is officially the start of week 16.  We all had a good laugh about how I’m going to be needing a few more of those 16 week pins before I hit a weight anywhere near my goal weight.
