WW Update - Weeks 50 & 51

For the past 2 weeks, I’ve done something I haven’t done all year - I missed my WW meeting.  Last week, my husband got home so ridiculously late due to traffic, I was unable to attend the meeting.  This week, it was Memorial Day and our WW center was closed.  Granted, I could try and make another meeting, but, I won’t.  Next Monday begins Week 52.  That means I’ve been doing WW for 1 year now.  And I don’t like what I see.  Yes, I’ve lost weight and yes, I’ve kept it off.  But, 27 pounds in 52 weeks isn’t great.  I can lose more.  Maintaining is good.  Losing is better.  So, along with some of my other WW friends out there, I am reaffirming my pledge to the program.  As of today, June 1, I’m back on track.  No slacking off.  No crap eating.  Tracking.  I want to lose more weight and no one can help me do that but ME.  So, here’s to hoping that the next year is even better than this one has been.

WW Update - Week 49

Total weight lost so far : 27 pounds

Well, as I always say, a no gain week is a good week.  As of today, I’m seriously back on track…..and by track, I mean tracking.  Clearly, I can maintain when not writing down my points, but I’m not losing.  So, back to the ball and chain book tracker book, I go!

WW Update - Week 47

Total weight lost so far : 27.2 pounds

Every week I feel that the Diet Devils put someone in my path that is just destined to ruin my weigh-in.  This week, that person was Chuck E. Cheese.  Damn you, Chuck E.  Why must your pizzas be so large and tasty???!!!  I tell you - every time I dig into those 35 extra points, not only do I not lose weight, I gain it.  So this week, it is back to salads and zero point soups - FOR REAL.  I’m getting so disappointed each week when I see that week number go up and my weight lost go down.  Time to DIET UP!!!

WW Update - Week 40

Pounds lost in Week 40: .4 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 26.0 pounds

Not a great week, but no gain, either.  Works for me and I’ll take it.  I have almost recouped the weight I gained back.  2.2 pounds didn’t seem like much, but my best weight loss so far was 26.2 pounds and I’m almost back there with more weight loss to come!  I also am donating more of my fat clothes that are now too big, so there is no going back now - not that I’d want to!

WW Update - Week 26

Pounds lost in Week 26: 1 pound

Total weight lost so far : 23.6 pounds

I don’t know whether it is a belated birthday gift (my horoscope said things were going to start looking up for me) or whether my Christmas miracle continues, but I lost 1 pound this week - and that included the Destroyer’s birthday party where I ate pizza and cake.  I must admit that I was super good the rest of the week planning in advance for the party and even got in some exercise walking through New York City on my birthday and lifting the heavy tables for the party. And I tried to be good about the amount of cake and pizza I ate at the party.  All in all, I’m happy with this week’s results.  I’m still down after my few weeks of small gains, but I’m going to aim to continue the weight loss through the holidays.  Ideally, I’d just like to make it through without gaining anything else, but obviously anything lost in that time is a HUGE plus.
