WW Update – Week 14

Pounds lost in week 14 : -.8 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 17.2 pounds

Damn you Sesame Place – why must you do me in every time??? Yesterday, we spent the day at Sesame Place with the kids and despite all of the exercise I got walking around and standing in line, I apparently still ate just enough crap to gain .8 of a pound. So much for healthy food at kids’ amusement parks! Though – I am a day earlier than usual for weigh-in. I wonder if I would have weighed in on my typical Monday rather than Sunday this week, if I could have recouped that .8 of a pound. Maybe, maybe not. Here’s to hoping that next week is better than this one. I’m starting to not like the fact the my weight loss is getting in line with the number of weeks I’ve been attending WW. A few weeks ago, I was way ahead of the game.

WW Update – Week 13

Pounds lost in week 13 : 1.2 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 18 pounds

And I’m back in the game!!! After last weeks devastating gain (yes, any time I have to move the total weight lost down, it IS devastating), I vowed to remain good this week. And while I did have a Slenderita (God Bless Rita’s and their tasty, fat free ice cream treats!) and some desserts at a picnic, I tried to make up for this by eating less at other meals and actually moving my ass a little. Today, CheezWaster, the Destroyer and I ran races in the beautiful weather. I honestly had to haul ass to keep up with CheezWaster (he likes to think he is Pietro/Quicksilver from X-men), but I didn’t at all feel out of breath. I actually felt pretty damn good afterwards. So, there is hope for me in the exercise department after all. Maybe if it stays this cool/beautiful, this will be the motivation I needed to get out and start running. That – and a decent pair of running sneakers. Foot Locker, here I come!

WW Update – Week 12

Pounds lost in week 12 : - .6 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 16.8 pounds

Well – you can’t win em all. And I damn well knew it this week. I was horrible this weekend – fair food, WAY too many homemade german noodles – mmmm spaetzle, cider donuts! I just knew the scale was going to be up and so it was. I’m vowing from this moment that I’m going to work extra hard this week because I hate having to lower that total weight lost so far number. That just breaks my heart.

WW Update – Week 11

Pounds lost in week 11 : .8 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 17.4 pounds

Typical of most Mondays these days, I was a bit nervous to get on the scale tonight. I wasn’t bad this week, but I wasn’t exactly good, either. There were a few days where I overate my points by 2 or 3 because I forgot to write something on my tracker when I ate it (just proves how desperately I need that food journal!). But, the diet gods were good to me. Or maybe I scrubbed enough activity points worth last night on the carpet. Either way, I’m happy. And I’ll be earning some more carpet scrubbing activity points tonight AND tomorrow. Then, hopefully, that sucktacular job will be finished.

WW Update – Week 10

Pounds lost in week 10 : 1.6 pounds

Total weight lost so far : 16.6 pounds

Tonight, I definitely expected to lose weight largely in part because I didn’t eat very much this weekend and I went swimming twice. I’m averaging about 1.6 pounds a week which is a nice, healthy steady weight loss. Today, was the first meeting that I actually had to pay for, so it is another 48.4 pounds or bust!!!
