WW Update - Week 26

Total weight lost so far : 23.6 pounds

I don’t know whether it is a belated birthday gift (my horoscope said things were going to start looking up for me) or whether my Christmas miracle continues, but I lost 1 pound this week - and that included the Destroyer’s birthday party where I ate pizza and cake.  I must admit that I was super good the rest of the week planning in advance for the party and even got in some exercise walking through New York City on my birthday and lifting the heavy tables for the party. And I tried to be good about the amount of cake and pizza I ate at the party.  All in all, I’m happy with this week’s results.  I’m still down after my few weeks of small gains, but I’m going to aim to continue the weight loss through the holidays.  Ideally, I’d just like to make it through without gaining anything else, but obviously anything lost in that time is a HUGE plus.

WW Update - Week 25

So the Christmas miracle has arrived early.  You ask how can this be true with a negative number above?  That would be because after Thanksgiving gorging dinner, dessert at 2 houses after Thanksgiving dinner, a birthday dinner out and a baby shower, I managed to only have a .2 gain.  I had high hopes that this week would be a loss week, but alas, I must admit that I am content with the minute gain.  It could have been so much worse!  My goal right now is not to gain any more weight between now and Christmas.  If I lose, then AWESOME, but I don’t want to gain anymore.  I’ve already declined my work Christmas party invite and outside of one cookie swap, I should be pretty much in the clear with regard to parties.  I’m going to continue to work hard, be conscience of what I’m eating and continue to make good food choices.  This will be a hard time - there is no doubt about that.  But, we all must be strong to get through it.  Let’s be strong together and JUST SAY NO to crap food!

WW Update - Week 24

OK - I’m officially depressed.  I can’t stand seeing these total numbers go down, but apparently, I can’t stop eating crap either.  I had to have one of those sit downs with my weight watchers leader today because I’m feeling super deprived food-wise.  I feel like I can’t eat anything, so in turn, I’m eating everything.  She told me that 1) I need to change up my food choices, which is super true.  I’ve been eating the same 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches for 6 months now.  2) She told me to focus on the positives - the fact that I’ve still lose 22.8 pounds, that people have noticed, that I’ve gone down a size in clothes.  I’m really worried about the holidays, but seeing these numbers go down just has to be enough for me to avoid the crap.  I MUST and I WILL do this.  NO more negative numbers.

WW Update - Week 23

Well, my nemesis, the Evil 2 Pounder has returned yet again.  But this time it was not a shock.  Last week was a horrible one - eating-wise.  I always seemed to be around crap and you know that the crap food is always more appealing than the healthy food.  And can you say No.Willpower.Whatsoever?  (I’m so doomed for the holidays!) But, I don’t like seeing negative numbers or the fact that my pounds lost = my numbers of weeks at Weight Watchers, so back to bootcamp I go!

WW Update - Week 22

Total weight lost so far : 25.4 pounds

Thanks to signing up for my own November bootcamp plan, this week was another good week.  While I didn’t really change anything up this week, I definitely ate less.  And thanks to the new Dasani flavored (but with no sugars) water, I’m getting in my water.  It definitely is helping, as the past 2 weeks have been good ones.  The pounds are starting to be greater than the weeks again and I’m liking the look of that!
